Frittata
Eggs are an important part of our daily meal. But instead of having the same scrambled and boiled eggs almost everyday, try this frittata. It is easy to make, packed with nutrition and protein and tastes just as delicious!
For this you will need :
Eggs: 4 pcs🥚🥚🥚🥚
Cheese🧀: 1/2 cup (grated)
Onion: 1 medium sized chopped
Carrot:🥕 1 medium size( grated)
Bell pepper: 1 medium sized (diced)
Tomato🍅: 1 medium size(diced)
Olive oil- 2 tbsps
Garlic cloves:5 (chopped)
Salt as per taste
Pepper:1tsp
Oregano : 1tsp
Method:
Beat the eggs well until it is light and fluffy. Add salt,pepper and oregano and beat more few more seconds.
Preheat the oven. Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
Meanwhile saute the ingredients. Heat a pan with olive oil.
First add the garlic and saute it for few seconds. Then add the onions,tomatoes,carrot,bellpepper. Saute well at medium heat until soft, takes around 10-15mins. Add salt and pepper as per taste.
Once done remove from heat and keep it aside.
Take your baking tin. Put in the sauted vegetables. Then pour the eggs over it. Mix it using a spatula.
Put it in the oven and bake it for 25 mins at 180°C.
Once done take the fritatta and spread the cheese over it. Bake it for another 5 to 7 mins. When it is done. Take it out and let it cool.
Your frittata is ready! Enjoy this scrumptious meal with bread or on its own.
