This is one of the easiest and go to salad when you have very little time on your hand and you intend on eating clean and healthy.
The only thing that needs some time is the chickpeas which can be soaked overnight and boiled the next day.
Ingredients.
- Boiled chickpeas - 1 cup
- Cottage cheese - 1/2 cup
- Cucumber - 2 ( diced)
- Tomato - 2 medium size (diced)
- Onion- 1 medium size (diced)
- Coriander leaves - a handful ( chopped)
- Chaat masala - 1 to 2tsps*
- Lime juice
- Salt - as per taste
The salad is ready.
*Tips
- In case you do not have chaat masala add roasted cumin and coriander powder. 2tsps
- You can also add a dash of olive oil to the salad.
- A can of tuna can also be added. This is something I add. It tastes great.
